Discover the new tools and functions in Formlabs PreForm. Learn how to hollow out models, create drain or ventilation holes, texturize and label at the click of a mouse. You can also import native CAD files and group components for larger SLS print jobs.
Multi-material 3D printing – joining soft and hard materials in FDM 3D printing
Material interlocking is an innovative new feature for 3D printing that enables the seamless joining of rigid and flexible materials, opening up a wide range of possibilities for the production of highly functional parts. This feature addresses one of the biggest challenges in multi-material printing: ensuring strong, cohesive bonds between materials with different properties. Imagine, for example, a mechanical gripper with soft TPU tips printed in one piece with a rigid PET carbon fiber (PET CF) body.
The Form 4L is a fast, precise SLA large format printer for prototypes and end products. Using LFD technology, it produces parts up to 5 times larger than the Form 4 – in record time and with the highest quality.
We are excited to announce some advancements to the Formlabs Fuse SLS ecosystem: two new advanced Nylon 12 powders for the Formlabs Fuse 1+ and the opening of the Fuse 1 and Fuse 1+ 30W through Open Material Mode.
We are excited to announce the arrival of the Fuse Blast Polishing System and the Fuse Sift Glovebox Bundle. These two enhancements to selective laser sintering (SLS) allow users to produce ready-to-sell parts in a simpler and more organized Fuse ecosystem.
