The UltiMaker Factor 4 enables additive manufacturing and the use of parts with verified structural integrity in multiple locations. This 3D printer offers an extremely low variation of less than 10% in extrusion rate and mechanical properties from batch to batch and part to part. This results from a combination of the H-shaped linear guide of the X-Y axis, the closed loop feed control and the evenly controlled build plate temperatures – with a maximum deviation of 2°C across the X and Y axes.

Integrated HEPA filter
The UltiMaker Factor 4 HEPA filter system has been independently tested to remove up to 95% of ultra-fine particles and improve air quality. The fully enclosed build chamber also improves print quality.
Onboard validation of structural integrity
After each print job, you receive a detailed report on the deviations of the extrusion parameters from the target values, their positions and their extent in the 3D model.
Automated material transport with low humidity storage
Automatic pre-charging and changing of coils (up to 6) at a relative humidity < 15% under all external conditions.
Emergency stop switch
A clearly visible red STOP button ensures simple and safe operation if the printing process needs to be interrupted immediately.
Capacitive 7-inch touchscreen
The camera has been placed higher to allow a better view of the first layers during remote monitoring. Monitor your print in high resolution remotely via UltiMaker Digital Factory.
H-linear guide
The H-linear guide of the X-Y axis and the direct drive print head enable fast dual printing. The Factor 4 reaches up to 340°C in the extruders, 70°C in the printing chamber and 120°C on the heating bed.

Selected accessories and materials for the UltiMaker Factor 4
UltiMaker PPS carbon fiber filament
The new UltiMaker PPS-CF material allows you to use this high-temperature composite material as a replacement for less demanding, complex steel parts or production aids. It also offers excellent surface quality.
UltiMaker HT-Print Core
The UltiMaker Factor 4 allows temperatures to be increased up to 340 °C with the HT print core. This means you can now 3D print high temperature resistant and durable materials with greater confidence.
Factor 4 printer station
This base trolley was customized for the Factor 4.
It has a tilt-proof architecture and high stability and locking mechanisms for attaching the 3D printer to the cabinet.
