The patented variable temperature control VECT 100 (Variable Environmental Controlled Temperature) ensures uniform heating and control of the printing environment. The result? Parts are 2x stronger in the Z-axis and 2x more accurate in all areas. The Method XL also features a heated build plate for even better adhesion and temperature control.

The RapidRinse support material for the UltiMaker Method XL enables the fastest support removal for complex ABS prints. Create the geometries you want – in any orientation. The water-soluble support material then dissolves before your eyes.

Print real ABS as easily as PLA: With the UltiMaker Method XL, you can print ABS-R or ABS Carbon Fiber as easily and reliably as PLA. This allows you to simulate the material properties of injection-molded plastic.
Two filters for safe use: Both a HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter are integrated into the device. This means that the Method XL can be used indoors without having to worry about harmful vapors or strong odors.
