Solids and generated surfaces can be exported in the following formats:
.dae, .fbx, .ma, .obj, .ply, .stl, .txt, .wrl, .x3d, .x3dz, .zpr, .dxf, .3mf, .iges, .step
Peel.CAD Pro is perfectly tailored to SolidWorks so that the complete timeline can be transferred. This means that all sketches or models can be reopened in SolidWorks as native components. For other common CAD platforms such as Autodesk and Inventor, the CAD model can be used together with the transferred extracted elements or cross-sections, but the complete timeline is not available.
Targets are more of a supplement; the 3D scanner can use geometry and texture for positioning. Targets are highly recommended for flatter or smoother surfaces and when accuracy is important.
Absolutely! Peel.CAD Pro has been specially developed to speed up the reverse engineering process. It offers powerful tools for easy extraction of elements and profiles. With its simple but effective features, Peel.CAD Pro is as user-friendly as possible and makes reverse engineering faster and more efficient.
