Formlabs Form 4B – High Speed Printing
With the Formlabs Form 4B you can print a dental model every 49 seconds. For example, you can produce 8 surgical guides in 48 minutes or 11 aligner models in 9 minutes. You can also produce 8 splints in 49 minutes and over 100 crowns in under 20 minutes.
The Form 4B is very versatile
Like previous Formlabs SLA 3D printers, the Formlabs Form 4B offers advanced materials for every application. You have access to all materials including 15+ dental materials, including biocompatible resins, developed and validated under a rigorous QMS and manufactured in an ISO 13485-certified facility so you don’t have to worry.
The Form 4B is even more intuitive
The Formlabs Form 4B has also been designed with user-friendliness in mind. The Formlabs Form 4B can be learned to use within 15 minutes.
The Form 4B is extremely reliable
Never before has an SLA 3D printer been tested as intensively as the Formlabs Form 4B before its release. That’s why we can already say that the Form 4B offers an unmatched printer success rate right from the start.
Maximum precision at maximum speed
Even at these high printing speeds of 40 – 100 mm/h, the Formlabs Form 4B achieves incredible precision. With the Form 4B, you can produce the smoothest surfaces at 50 μm pixel size supported by advanced edge smoothing for sub-pixel resolution. This allows you to print dental parts with industry-leading surface accuracy of over 95% of data points within 50 μm of the original CAD data, consistently across the entire build platform.
Open Material Mode
With Formlabs Open Material Mode (OMM), you get full access to use with third-party materials, giving you endless new possibilities on the industry’s most reliable professional SLA ecosystem. Print with any other photopolymer resin (405 nm curing).
As there are no cartridges that can be used for other materials, the resin is filled into the resin tank manually. This must always be checked to ensure that it is sufficiently full. The print preparation in Preform and the post-processing remain the same in terms of workflow – only the parameters have to be adjusted according to your material.
