3D printing filaments from Raise3D for design and production
Choosing the right 3D printing filament is crucial for the successful implementation of a project. From PLA with water-soluble PVA+ to PPA CF with suitable support, Raise3D offers a wide range of 3D printing materials. This allows you to find the right filament for your application from a wide range of materials.
3D printer filaments for general applications
These are materials that are often used for many simple prototyping applications that do not have to meet high standards.
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a thermoplastic 3D printing filament that is characterized by its reliability, rigidity, strength and impact resistance. It is also characterized by higher dimensional stability and chemical resistance. These properties make it useful for design, prototyping, functional testing, part assembly and much more. 3D printed ABS parts are used for electronic housings, toys and car body parts, among other things.
ASA (acrylstyrene acrylonitrile) is an opaque thermoplastic 3D printing filament with similar mechanical properties to ABS. In contrast to ABS, however, it has significantly better UV and weather resistance. It is therefore often used for outdoor applications. This is because ASA retains its color and physical properties even outdoors.
PLA (polylactide) is a non-toxic, bio-based industrial thermoplastic that is 100% biodegradable. It is a very easy to print filament that is durable, making it one of the most user-friendly 3D printing filaments on the market. It is therefore ideal for beginners. It is also relatively inexpensive, making it suitable for the production of 3D printed parts for design, prototyping and jigs and fixtures.
User-friendly filament for functional applications
PETG (polyethylene terephthalate, glycol-modified) is an industrial thermoplastic 3D printing filament with excellent chemical resistance. PETG is strong, durable, heat resistant and easy to print. 3D parts printed with PETG can be used for prototyping, functional testing, part assembly and much more.
A material for functional applications and end-user components
PA12 CF is a 3D printing filament based on polyamide 12 (PA12/Nylon12), which is enriched with carbon fibers. Carbon fibers improve the stiffness, strength, shrink ratio and surface quality of nylon as well as the chemical and thermal resistance.
Reliable printing of fiberglass composites for strong and cost-effective end uses.
A glass fiber-reinforced composite filament based on PET (polyethylene terephthalate). Well-dispersed glass fibers improve the stiffness, strength, heat and chemical resistance of the PET matrix. After annealing, PET GF stabilizes its heat resistance at around 120 ℃, with a tensile modulus and strength of over 4.1 GPa and 70 MPa respectively.
A high-performance fiber composite material for end-user applications
Raise3D Industrial PPA CF filament is a carbon fiber reinforced composite material based on PPA (polyphthalamide or high performance/high temperature nylon). Thanks to its high-performance nylon matrix, this composite filament has better mechanical and thermal properties than other nylon filaments. Thanks to the well-controlled dispersion and length distribution of the chopped carbon fibers (15% by weight), PPA CF has a lower density, lower moisture absorption, high strength and stiffness, high wear and creep resistance, and excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is therefore suitable for end applications in the automotive, aerospace and electrical and electronics (E&E) industries.
A high-performance fiber composite material for end-user applications
Raise3D Industrial PPA GF is a glass fiber-reinforced composite material based on PPA (polyphthalamide or high-performance/high-temperature nylon). PPA differs from aliphatic polyamides (e.g. PA6) in that it has a higher melting point, a higher glass transition temperature (Tg), lower moisture absorption and greater dimensional stability. By incorporating short glass fibers, the properties of the PPA matrix are further improved, making printed parts made from PPA GF valuable for end applications in the automotive, aerospace, electrical and electronics industries.
A proven, durable filament for technology and end applications
PC (polycarbonate) is a robust thermoplastic 3D printing filament that is characterized by its excellent impact resistance, high rigidity, heat resistance and flame retardancy. Therefore, PC filaments can absorb shocks, prevent deformation or cracking and remain stable even at high temperatures and flames. Due to its heat resistance of 110 °C, PC is well suited for use in environments with high temperatures, such as under the hood of a car. PC is also known for its impact resistance and is often used for the manufacture of rigid parts, functional testing, assembly of finished parts and manufacturing.
User-friendly filament for functional ESD applications
Raise3D’s Industrial PETG ESD filament is an electrostatic dissipative printing material based on PETG filled with carbon nanotubes. Thanks to its excellent printability, chemical resistance and electrostatic dissipative properties, PETG ESD is ideal for applications in the automotive, aerospace, general manufacturing and electronics industries. Industrial PETG ESD filament is suitable for the manufacture of housings, panels, fixtures and brackets where electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection is required.

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a type of flexible and elastic 3D printing filament. Due to its rubber-like elasticity, resilience and durability, it is suitable for applications that require shock absorption and a soft surface. Examples of 3D-printed TPU parts include pipes, seals, bushings and vibration dampers.
3D printer support filaments for various materials
Raise3D offers support materials for various model materials: on the one hand for standard materials such as PLA, PETG or PA, and on the other hand for special materials such as CF or PPA materials.
A cost-efficient breakable support material for composite filaments.
Raise3D Industrial PET Support Filament is a breakable support material that has been specially developed for FFF printing with fiber-reinforced filaments. In contrast to print supports made of the same material, PET filament is easier to remove and enables detailed surface quality and dimensional accuracy. Compared to water-soluble substrates, PET substrates are an ideal alternative to BVOH or PVA due to their lower moisture absorption and good price-performance ratio.
Cost-effective
Quick and easy removal with tools
No special post-processing required
Broad compatibility with other printing filaments
Compatibility: PET CF, PET GF, and other CF filaments
Raise3D Premium PVA+ (polyvinyl alcohol) is a cold water soluble 3D printing material with strong adhesion in combination with PLA, PETG, PA and PA12 CF or similar, making it an excellent support material for various types of filaments. The PVA+ support structures dissolve when immersed in water, leaving a smooth surface on the 3D printed part.
A special break-away support material for fiber composite materials
Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Support Filament is a break-away support material. This support material was specially developed for FFF printing processes with carbon fiber-reinforced PA filaments. It is compatible with many fiber-reinforced composite filaments based on PA (such as PA12 CF, PA6 CF, etc.). Compared to water-soluble support material, it is more cost-effective and – depending on the geometry – can be removed much more quickly.
Cost-effective
Quick and easy removal by hand or with hand tools
No special treatment (such as washing out) required
A breakable support material for PPA-based composite filaments
The Raise3D Industrial PPA (Polyphthalamide)Support Filament is a break-away support material specially developed for PPA (polyphthalamides). During the 3D printing process, it creates a stable support structure, ensures proper adhesion at the interface to the printed parts and counteracts the tendency to warp. This significantly improves the surface quality for overhangs and cavities of the printed parts; once printing is complete, the support structure can be easily removed from the printed parts by hand or with tools (break-away). This support material is more cost-effective than water-soluble support material.
