Formlabs SLS 3D printers use professional selective laser sintering technology to produce high-precision and resilient objects. SLS technology enables, among other things, the printing of objects with undercuts and without support structures – as the powder bed in the build space not only serves to build the object, but also as a support structure.
Formlabs announced its SLS 3D printer in 2017. After a complete redesign, Formlabs has now been involved in the SLS 3D printing market since 2021. The company, based in Boston (USA), specializes in the development of benchtop SLA and SLS 3D printers. The relatively affordable SLS desktop 3D printers also offer SMEs and educational institutions access to selective laser sintering. Formlabs SLS 3D printers focus on user-friendliness, performance and accessibility.
Based on initial experience and intensive testing since 2017, Formlabs has improved and further developed its product. Today, as a Formlabs SLA and SLS reseller in Switzerland, we are proud to offer you the revised Formlabs Fuse 1 SLS 3D printer.
Formlabs Fuse 1 – the affordable SLS 3D printer for everyone
Thanks to the Formlabs Fuse 1, we offer you an affordable introduction to SLS technology. True to the motto “small but powerful”, the Fuse 1 offers high-precision and durable components made of PA12 and PA11 in a build space of up to 165 x 165 x 300 mm (depending on the materials used). Other materials will follow in the near future.
Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W – the fast SLS 3D printer for industry
The Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W enables fast in-house production. It delivers high-precision end products in less than 24 hours with industrial-grade
materials from a build envelope of up to 165 x 165 x 300 mm. The nitrogen purging option improves part quality and provides additional materials.
Formlabs Sift – clean and safe powder recovery
With the Fuse Sift, Formlabs is launching a professional powder recovery system for its SLS 3D printers. It meets the needs of the industry and can also be used without special space requirements. This system ranks among the professional SLS 3D printers due to its performance and powder management.

Formlabs Fuse & Sift accessories / packages
In addition to the further development of the SLS 3D printers, Formlabs has taken a further step towards professionalization by adding the appropriate accessories to the systems. The Fuse 1 Formlabs SLS 3D printer is therefore now also available as a set with Fuse Sift (powder cleaning station) and various accessories. The Fuse Sift is used to prepare and reuse non-sintered powder. The build chambers are modular and are used for uninterrupted 3D printing. If you prefer to expand step by step or already have the appropriate accessories for selective laser sintering, the accessories can also be purchased separately.
