The S3 combines state-of-the-art technology from the Ultimaker S5 with the proven design of the Ultimaker 3 and offers a cost-effective solution for the use of 3D printing in companies.
By adopting the print bed calibration of the Ultimaker S5, the precision and reliability of the first print layer is increased, ensuring process stability. The revised material feed enables the use of composite materials such as carbon fibers, glass fibers and Kevlar as well as long printing processes. A filament sensor interrupts printing in the event of a material shortage or other problems. In combination with the tested material profiles in Ultimaker Cura, the Ultimaker S3 sets standards in terms of reliability.
The Ultimaker S3 not only offers a state-of-the-art 3D printer, but also filaments specially adapted to the hardware and software, together with the continuously improved Ultimaker Cura software.
