Simple creation of textures

With a *.stl file you have an infinite number of possibilities

With ideaMaker Texture, you can easily create different variants of the same *.stl file. This is because ideaMaker Texture offers you the option of applying different textures/patterns to the surface of the selected model. This creates a concave or convex surface on the model – corresponding to the grayscale values of an image.

Skip lengthy CAD processing

After selecting the desired image or texture, ideaMaker automatically creates the 3D texture on the surface of the model. You can then adjust the settings to adapt the texture to your requirements. A large number of textures are available in the ideaMaker library.

Customize the support

The support structures can be adapted to your needs with additional tools

The 3D slicing software ideaMaker from Raise3D automatically creates support structures. It also provides a range of tools for the manual processing of support structures. These tools can be used to create specially stable support for PVA support material, easily removable break-away support or to reduce the number of support structures.

Flexible segment selection

The user can define the scope of the desired area using model groups, levels or overlapping shapes. With the levels and the model group, users can combine models in a group. Individual levels can then be defined in the same model group. The overlapping shape of two models can also be selected.

Cut, divide or combine models as required

Boolean tools for cutting, dividing and combining models are integrated in ideaMaker. These functions are useful when models exceed the construction volume or models need to be adjusted afterwards. The integration of these tools saves time that would otherwise have to be spent on adjustments in CAD software.

Quick and precise view of the modifications

The adjustments can be made precisely via a graphical interface or input fields. The result of the change is displayed immediately for checking. Models can be edited quickly and precisely using the model rotation and zoom options.

In the ideaMaker library, Raise3D offers print profiles for free download and integration into ideaMaker. The ideaMaker library contains print profiles (templates) for various filaments and printers. You will not only find profiles for Raise3D products, but also for third-party printers and filaments. This should also enable users of other products to work with ideaMaker without having to struggle with calibration and settings.

Benefit from the community and get involved

Raise3D certifies print profiles of third-party filaments for the Raise3D FFF 3D printers via the Open Filament Program. At the same time, Raise3D invites all FFF users to use the ideaMaker software and exchange print profiles. The mutual support should help to improve the quality for all ideaMaker users.
