The new flexible build plate for the MakerBot Replicator+ makes it easier to remove objects from the build plate. Thanks to the new “Grip” surface, the objects adhere better to the MakerBot Replicator+ build plate, which reduces warping and unintentional detachment from the build plate during printing.
The MakerBot Replicator+ Builplate Tape – i.e. the print bed film / adhesive film on the build platform – can be easily removed and replaced without having to replace the entire build plate. The MakerBot Replicator+ build plate tape is self-adhesive.
MakerBot Replicator+ Buildplate
The build plate for the MakerBot Replicator+ 3D printer is attached to a metal build plate with 16 points. This is leveled with 3 locking screws, which means that the build plate remains flat for longer and needs to be readjusted less often. Leveling is supported as usual by MakerBot 3D printers.
