Form 4 Resin tank
The Formlabs Form 4 Resin Tank is a removable, replaceable tray and serves as a resin container for the printing process. This resin tank features a two-layer flexible film at the bottom of the resin tank and is a key component of the Formlabs Form 4 3D printer’s LFD printing process.
The resin tanks are built to last and provide consistent performance for at least 75,000 print layers (typically 1-2 years for the average user).

The resin tank for the Formlabs Form 4 3D printer with Low Force Display (LFD)™ 3D printing uses a flexible yet sturdy dual-layer foil tank for consistent, high-quality prints. Each resin tank has a reusable lid, making it easy to stack the tanks and store the resin outside the machine. With a separate Form 4 Resin Tank for each individual resin or resin color, changing materials is as easy as sliding in a new tank.
A separate Form 4 mixer is always required for printing. As a rule, resin mixers last for the entire service life of a printer. For practical reasons, we recommend using a separate resin mixer for each resin tank.
