Parts printed with ABS are not only used in the prototyping phase of product development, but also in the later phase of functional testing and assembly of the parts. Printed ABS parts have been successfully used in manufacturing with or without post-processing. A heated print bed and an enclosed chamber are required for successful printing of ABS; an air filter is recommended for printing ABS in offices, factories and indoor environments.
