PPA differs from aliphatic polyamides (e.g. PA6) in its higher melting point, higher glass transition temperature (Tg), lower moisture absorption and higher dimensional stability. The inclusion of short glass fibers further improves the properties of the PPA matrix, making printed parts made from PPA GF promising for end-use applications in the automotive, aerospace, electrical and electronics industries.
