MK8 Nozzle TwinClad XT 0.4mm
Our MK8 nozzle for MakerBot, Craftbot, Witbox and Hephestos is made from brass as the base material and coated with the patented “TwinClad XT” coating.
TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction and therefore reduces nozzle clogging. This coating also makes the nozzle very hard and abrasion-resistant. This is why the use of these nozzles is particularly recommended when processing abrasive filaments such as carbon, aluminum or metal.
This MK8 nozzle is available in 4 different sizes: 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.6mm.
Contact us if you do not want the standard 0.4mm size.
The nozzle is manufactured in the USA by Micro Swiss LLC Precision CNC Machining.
