Formlabs Open Material Mode
Formlabs provides open access to its SLA ecosystem for experienced users with Open Material Mode. With Formlabs Open Material Mode (OMM), you get full access to use with third-party materials, giving you endless new possibilities on the industry’s most reliable professional SLA ecosystem. Print with any other photopolymer resin (405 nm curing).
As there are no cartridges that can be used for other materials, the resin is filled into the resin tank manually. This must always be checked to ensure that it is sufficiently full. The print preparation in Preform and the post-processing remain the same in terms of workflow – only the parameters have to be adjusted according to your material.
