This simple and powerful app allows you to access your MakerBot library and monitor the MakerBot Replicator 5th. Generation 3D printer. You now have full control from your smartphone.

Control your 3D printer with a tap
If you are on the same Wi-Fi network as your MakerBot Replicator 3D printer, you can use MakerBot Mobile for Android to print 3D models that you have saved in your library using MakerBot Desktop. All this with just one tap. You can also use MakerBot Mobile for Android to monitor and control your MakerBot Replicator 3D printer, including pausing or canceling print jobs and changing filament.

Upgrade to Thingiverse 1.3 for Android
To all MakerBot Thingiverse fans, we are also pleased to announce that a new version of the Thingiverse app for Android is available. Use it together with MakerBot Mobile for Android to print 3D models directly from Thingiverse! Just tap the “Print Now” button in Thingiverse 1.3 and MakerBot Mobile for Android will automatically open and prepare your model for 3D printing.

We’ve only just begun
This is just the beginning of MakerBot Mobile for Android. In the near future there will be more features to work with Thingiverse. It will also be possible to use any 3/4G connection to start 3D print jobs. In the meantime, use the Thingiverse app to expand your 3D model collection and keep an eye out for the following updates.
