Managing your projects remotely is easy with the MakerBot app family. Thanks to the MakerBot Mobile 2.1 upgrade, iOS and Android users now have the same options – and of course these have also been expanded.
Check your printer
You can now complete the connection of the MakerBot Smart Extruder to the 3D printer via smartphone after assembly. You can now see the status of your 3D printer anywhere in the app and can activate or deactivate remote monitoring at any time. In addition, you will find even more information under the 3D printer settings (Printer Utilities and the following tabs), for example on the cloud services and the firmware version.
Get the detailed information
The latest MakerBot Mobile update also gives you more information about the 3D printer, such as name, statistics, completed prints, print times, and much more – all via smartphone.
