At the beginning of July, further training courses for primary and secondary level 1 teachers will once again be held by School and Further Education Switzerland (swch.ch) will take place again. This year in Brugg/Windisch and with the participation of C. Gygax* as course leader on the subject of 3D printers in schools and lessons.
You will learn about the development of 3D printing technology and the reasons for its use in the classroom.
Teaching examples will be used to show you in which teaching settings the strengths of the technology are best utilized and what to pay particular attention to when planning.
You will gain an insight into the most important processes, learn how to use the software and operate the 3D printer. You will develop your own 3D models (CAD) and print your first 3D objects.
