The SR-30 filament is a proprietary support material from Stratasys for the MakerBot Method X 3D printer. The material serves as a support material for ABS, ASA and other materials that are processed at higher temperatures. The SR-30 is dissolved in agitated water together with Ecoworks tablets at approx. 75°C.

Spool type
The Smart Spool™ provides valuable information on material type, color and remaining quantity directly to the MakerBot Print software via an RFID chip. A desiccant in the spool also ensures a low moisture content in the material shaft of the MakerBot Method X 3D printer.
Working environment
Store the MakerBot SR-30 material in the polyester bag provided to prevent it from absorbing moisture from the air. The absorption of moisture from the air can affect the material quality and its performance. Make sure the built-in desiccant is in the spool to absorb moisture during the material loading process.
