The PVA Precision filament made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a water-soluble support material for creating water-soluble support structures during 3D printing. This material is also suitable for office use as it is non-toxic and water-soluble. MakerBot Precision PVA material has been extensively tested for highest reliability, dimensional accuracy and superior surface quality – even supported surfaces convince with highest surface quality!

Spool type
The Smart Spool™ provides valuable information on material type, color and remaining quantity directly to the MakerBot Print software via an RFID chip. A desiccant in the spool also ensures a low moisture content in the material shaft of the MakerBot Method 3D printer.

Working environment
Store the MakerBot Precision PVA material in the polyester bag provided to prevent it from absorbing moisture from the air. The absorption of moisture from the air can affect the material quality and its performance. Make sure the built-in desiccant is in the spool to absorb moisture during the material loading process.
