Fuse Blast Polishing Module
The Polishing Module is an extension for the Fuse Blast blasting unit and delivers end-product quality parts with smooth, semi-glossy surfaces that are ready for coloring – in just one automated step.
Intended for use in the Fuse Blast Polishing System.
Fuse Blast Polishing Media consists of specially formulated plastic beads for use in the Fuse Blast to produce smooth, semi-glossy SLS parts ready for coloring.
Unlike abrasive polishing media or chemical surface melting, Fuse Blast Polishing Media smooths parts by densifying their surface. Designed for durability, the blast media lasts for over one hundred blast cycles without the degradation typical of glass beads. Fuse Blast Polishing Media consists of larger pieces that are blasted at a higher pressure than standard glass blast media.
Intended for use in the Fuse Blast Polishing System.
The Fuse Blast Polishing Agent conditions the Fuse Blast Polishing Media to improve the polishing quality and prevent clogging of the abrasive. It is a liquid solvent that is diluted with water in the water tank of the Polishing Module. 7 ml of Polishing Agent diluted in 750 ml of water is sufficient for about 6 hours of blasting operation.

Formlabs Fuse Blast Polishing System
The Fuse Blast Polishing System is a drop-in upgrade for the Fuse Blast that gives your SLS printed parts a smooth, semi-gloss, abrasion-resistant surface that is ready for coloring.
This simple extension for the Fuse Blast cleans and polishes your parts in the Fuse Sift directly after powder removal – in the same device. The Polishing System is compatible with every Fuse Blast and contains the following components:
- 1 Fuse Blast Polishing Module
- 2 canisters Fuse Blast Polishing Media
- 1 bottle of Fuse Blast Polishing Agent
