The Formlabs Form 4BL uses Low Force Display™ (LFD) technology. This makes it incredibly fast, even more precise and even more reliable than all its Form 3BL predecessors. The powerful printing system, consisting of high-performance LEDs, collimator lenses, optical filters and a robust liquid crystal display, combine to ensure lightning-fast curing of the individual resin layers – regardless of the size and number of parts. By maintaining tight tolerances, the Form 4BL always delivers parts that meet your design parameters, whatever the resin and whatever the print.

Formlabs Form 4B – High Speed Printing

With the Formlabs Form 4B you can print a dental model every 49 seconds. For example, you can produce 8 surgical guides in 48 minutes or 11 aligner models in 9 minutes. You can also produce 8 splints in 49 minutes and over 100 crowns in under 20 minutes.

Like previous Formlabs SLA 3D printers, the Formlabs Form 4BL offers advanced materials for every application. You have access to all materials including 15+ dental materials, including biocompatible resins, developed and validated under a rigorous QMS and manufactured in an ISO 13485-certified facility so you don’t have to worry.

Even at these high printing speeds of 40 – 100 mm/h, the Formlabs Form 4B achieves incredible precision. With the Form 4B, you can produce the smoothest surfaces at 46 μm pixel size supported by advanced edge smoothing for sub-pixel resolution. This allows you to print dental parts with industry-leading surface accuracy of over 95% of data points within 46 μm of the original CAD data, consistently across the entire build platform.
