Large print models, excellent resolution

With a 40% larger print volume (145 x 145 x 175 mm) and a laser beam twice as powerful as its predecessor Formlabs Form 1+, controlled by a specially developed precision optic, the Formlabs Form 2 delivers large print models with excellent detail.

Improved components for an optimized printing process

The Formlabs Form 2’s new release mechanism and heated resin tank ensure a reliable printing process – even with challenging geometry such as large, solid parts or small, complex details. The resin wiper also improves print consistency by removing fine dust from the print area and thoroughly mixing the resin.

Automatic resin tank filling

The new integrated resin system of the Form 2 3D printer automatically refills the resin tank. This means you can now print larger 3D models without stopping the printing process. You can use the cartridge ID chip to check the fill level and wear of the resin tank. Nevertheless, you can still experiment with resins from other suppliers using the open mode.

Wireless 3D printing and always connected

Thanks to the Formlabs Form 2’s Wi-Fi connection and touchscreen display, you can now wirelessly upload your files and manage your print queue & library. The Formlabs printer dashboard also allows you to access your Formlabs Form 2 3D printer from anywhere via smartphone. Get notified when a print starts or is complete, check resin tank levels and wear, or manage multiple printers to increase productivity.
