MakerBot a ouvert sa nouvelle usine de 16’000 m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s \u00e0 Industry City<\/a><\/span>Brooklyn, NY. Cela permet de s’assurer que le \u00ab\u00a0Made in Brooklyn\u00a0\u00bb continuera d’\u00eatre inscrit au dos des imprimantes MakerBot. Imprimantes 3D MakerBot<\/a><\/span> sur le site de l’entreprise. <\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes fiers d’\u00eatre ici \u00e0 Brooklyn, non seulement en tant que fournisseur de services, concepteur et agent de marketing, mais aussi en tant que fabricant\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 J. Jaglom, PDG de MakerBot, qui s’est adress\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 100 employ\u00e9s, enseignants, \u00e9tudiants et fonctionnaires. Il a eu du mal \u00e0 contenir son enthousiasme \u00e0 l’id\u00e9e que MakerBot puisse relancer un site de production \u00e0 Brooklyn. <\/p>\n

Diana Pincus, vice-pr\u00e9sidente des op\u00e9rations de MakerBot, qui a rejoint MakerBot il y a trois ans, a supervis\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation de la nouvelle usine, qui simplifie la production et double la capacit\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 l’usine actuelle. La nouvelle usine est bas\u00e9e sur les principes de la production all\u00e9g\u00e9e (lean-manufacturing), qui met l’accent sur la r\u00e9duction des d\u00e9chets et l’efficacit\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Lean signifie une culture et non une activit\u00e9, nous sommes donc en train de faire de l’usine MakerBot un site de production de classe mondiale\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Pincus. Pincus et MakerBot sont dans une position unique. Ou, comme elle le dit, \u00ab\u00a0je me consid\u00e8re tr\u00e8s chanceuse d’avoir construit une usine non seulement aux \u00c9tats-Unis, mais aussi \u00e0 Brooklyn, ma maison\u00a0\u00bb. <\/p>\n
