PVA is used exclusively as a support material and dissolves completely after it has spent some time in a water bath. Therefore, the filament is only compatible with dual extruder FDM printers.  <\/p>\n<p>The big advantage of PVA is that designers do not have to consider any geometric restrictions when creating a 3D model. The material works well with Ultimaker PLA and nylon filaments and there are dedicated material profiles for these combinations in Cura. <\/p>\n<p>Please note that PVA is very sensitive to moisture and absorbs moisture from the air.
