LEGO<\/a> ‘s modular bricks have been fascinating young and old for almost 85 years. The seemingly unlimited combination possibilities encourage play, while at the same time inspiring and encouraging “the master builders of tomorrow” through creative play. With“Mindstorms<\/a>” in particular, LEGO<\/a> has made the leap from children’s rooms to schools in recent years. The set with robotics construction kit (LEGO Technic components, sensors, motors and the programmable EV3 brick) and the intuitive programming software offer an easy introduction to programming.LEGO-education<\/a>” also offers various teaching and further training opportunities for teachers in the field of STEM education. <\/p>\n

\"MyBuild_Robot\"<\/p>\n

MyBuild Robot Frame<\/a> by MyBuild<\/a> takes a slightly different approach: They developed a “skeleton” to invent your own game pieces or robots. The all-round buildable pieces allow you to design your own skeletons. These can then be built on with the conventional game pieces. If this is not enough, you can of course also develop your own pieces. The basic elements have been made available for free download on Thingiverse<\/a> and can easily be produced on a 3D printer. There are no limits when developing your own bricks thanks to the 3D printer. <\/p>\n

I think this could be an exciting teaching unit, because a number of questions and problems from mathematics and science will arise.<\/p>\n
