No toxic gases are produced when the plastic is melted. PLA is a raw bioplastic.  <\/p><p>ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is not a hazardous substance. ABS poses no known danger to humans when used as intended. There are no restrictions on processing in enclosed spaces. The replicator heats ABS to 220\u00b0C. Only when the plastic burns (ignition temperature 390\u00b0C) would CO (carbon monoxide), CO2 (carbon dioxide), HCN (hydrogen cyanide) and soot be produced.    <\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t<div id=\"accordion-2556524581\" class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t<a id=\"accordion-2556524581-label\" class=\"accordion-title plain\" href=\"#accordion-item-is-the-size-of-the-nozzle-decisive-for-the-accuracy-of-the-pressure?\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-2556524581-content\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"toggle\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><i class=\"icon-angle-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t<span>Is the size of the nozzle decisive for the accuracy of the pressure?<\/span>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<div id=\"accordion-2556524581-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-2556524581-label\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<p>No. The thread thickness is controlled by the software that generates the G-code. With a nozzle of 0.4 mm diameter, thread thicknesses of min. 0.1 mm to max. 0.5 mm are possible.
