Elastic 50A Resin V2 / synthetic resin 1L V2 cartridge
Elastic 50A Resin V2 is a soft, technical material that simulates silicone. The material has a Shore hardness of 50A. It is designed for prototyping components that are traditionally molded from silicone. Elastic 50A Resin V2 can be stretched and compressed again without cracking.
The “50A” in the name stands for the Shore hardness of the material. If you need a harder, more flexible material, try Flexible 80A Resin.
Elastic 50A Resin V2 is the new formulation of Elastic Resin and offers numerous improvements such as easier support removal, shorter printing time and more transparent parts after curing. In addition, the odor development during printing has been reduced compared to the previous resin.
Although Elastic 50A Resin V2 has a lower tensile strength and a slight loss of odor after curing, it offers many advantages. Elastic 50A Resin V2 is now recommended for prototyping parts that need to bend, stretch and compress and require a transparent appearance.
Elastic 50A Resin V2 requires curing in a water basin as with Silicone 40A.
